Tracy and I had a retreat day today & one of the items I gathered as inspiration was from The Creative Cat Crew & Creative Bugs group I left in Washington.I love the simplicity of the design & the large accent item. Tracy & I decided to replicate this layout with anything other than a flower.

We decided on the Sailing Home suite of items and this month's Paper Pumpkin On My Mind. We also substituted the background for a card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More pack. I sponged the edges of the card with a little Night of Navy to give it a little more character. The color pallette we chose was Night of Navy, Basic Gray and Whisper White. While Tracy used the stamps from Sailing Home for her focal point, I used the large sailboat from the Paper Pumpkin kit. My envelope is stamped with the boat & birds from Sailing Home and the water from Hide Tide. The sentiment is from Seaside Notions. Don't forget to check out Tracy's card over at Stuff n Thingz!
