Gather Together Halloween Soft Sea Foam

I just love the contrast for this card from the traditional Halloween colors, it is so soft & pretty. This card went to someone who is not all about the ghouls and goblins that come with the holiday.

This card is pretty much a direct copy from AEStamps a Latte. I stamped the pumpkins in Soft Sea Foam ink and cut them with the Gathered Leaves Dies. The leaves emboss and cut at the same time using the Gathered Leaves Dies, Mint Macaron & Soft Sea Foam.  I sponged the them with Mint Macaron to make the texture of the leaves really pop and slathered them with Wink of Stella. The 2 background papers are from the Come To Gather DSP pack and the stripes are embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. I did add just a little strip of Silver Glimmer Paper to add a little more zip to the card. I stamped Mint Macaron & Soft Sea Foam on Whisper White using the Country Home Stamp Set and layered all my pumpkins & leaves on top of a good swirl of Silver Thread. The Sentiment is from my stash.

Gather Together Halloween Pumpkins

Here is another card I received from the North Carolina Demonstrator meeting. On the original the pumpkins were vertical, so I flipped the card to make it horizontal instead.

The background is...plain! This is probably the first time in a very long time where  have not embossed the background! The pumpkins were stamped with Memento Black and the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set and punched with the Apple Builder Punch and the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. The leaf was hand cut and stamped on Mint Macaron. The sentiment & pumpkins stems are done in Soft Suede. The whole thing is topped off with a double bow made from Linen Thread. The patchwork pumpkin stamp on the envelope was stamped with Mint Macaron and then I used a dauber to apply stripes of Pretty Peacock to give it 2 colors.

Gather Together Halloween Pretty Peacock

I recently attended the North Carolina Demonstrator meeting and did 3 Shoebox swaps. Since I was rushed for time on 2 of the swaps, I just gathered the elements I needed, took a picture & came home & made a completely different card!

The background is stamped Pretty Peacock on Pretty Peacock using leaf from the retired Choose Happiness Stamp Set, I love that leaf, it is so pretty! I added banner of Coastal Cabana embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and then lightly sponged with Pretty Peacock. I added a little swatch of white layered over a strip from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. One of the pumpkins is cut from it using the Gathered Leaves Dies. The other pumpkin is stamped with Pretty Peacock using the Gather Together Stamp Set. The gold leaf is cut from gold cardstock & the Gathered Leaves Dies. The sentiment is stamped with Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink Pad and a stamp from my stash. Topping off the whole thing is a double bow made using the Whisper White Baker's Twine.
