I embossed some of the Crumb Cake background squares with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.  The sentiments is stamped with the Cool Treats Stamp Set and the "so" is from my stash as well as some of the envelope decor. I used Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Blueberry Bushel for the sentiments. Here is pinspiration for this one.

Black Magnolia Lane DSP with Mossy Meadow

For this card using the large magnolias with the black background from the Magnolia Lane DSP paper pack. This paper is my favorite!

The sentiment is cut from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and stamped with Mossy Meadow and the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set on Whisper White. The bow is made from the Whisper White 1/4" Seam Binding Ribbon and it is layered on a twist of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Silver Thread. I fussy cut one of the magnolias from the paper with the black background to add to the sentiment top. The envelope is stamped with the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and inked with Blends. Make sure to pop over & see the white version and those two side by side!

For this card using the large magnolias with the white background from the Magnolia Lane DSP paper pack, I cased a card I made for the Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin from May 2019 and I think it turned out great again!

I added a strip of the large magnolias on the black background and layered that on a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. The sentient is stamped with a stamp from my stash and Versamark, embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Mossy Meadow. It is then hand cut and then layered again on Whisper White with a tiny border of Whisper White. I added a sliver of Silver Glimmer Paper to add a little bling, because ... why not? The bow is made with the Whisper White 1/4" Seam Binding Ribbon and it is layered on a twist of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Silver Thread. The envelope is stamped with the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and inked with Blends. Make sure to pop over & see the white version and those two side by side!

Tracy & I had a play date last week and she had this sketch as something we wanted to do. I thought it was a cute basic design & would look great with the Magnolia Lane DSP! I love it when I am right!

The card base is Whisper White, layered with Petal Pink that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. I added a strip of the large magnolias on the white background and layered that on a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. The sentient is stamped with a stamp from my stash and Versamark, embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Mossy Meadow, hand cut and then layered again on Whisper White with the tiniest of borders. I added a sliver of Silver Glimmer Paper to add a little bling, because honestly, who doesn't love bling?! White Magnolia Lane DSP with Crumb Cake

This card focuses on the large magnolias with the white background and one of my favorite layouts with fish-tail banners.

The card base is Crumb Cake, layered with Petal Pink that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. I added 2 patterns from the Magnolia Lane DSP as banners. The center strip is stamped with the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set and Petal Pink. The sentient is cut from the Trio of Tags Dies and embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Crumb Cake and edged with a little Wink of Stella. The little hearts are also cut from the Trio of Tags Dies. The bow is made by coloring the Whisper White 1/4" Seam Binding Ribbon with a Crumb Cake Blends marker and it is layered on a twist of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Silver Thread. I added some sequins from various assorted packs for the finishing touch.  The envelope is stamped with the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and inked with Blends. Make sure to pop over & see the black version and those two side by side!

Noble Peacock Foil Old Olive Christmas

For the last "card" of the day, Tracy & I picked 2 cards made with the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets to CASE and a third to convert so that we could 
1) Use more DSP since we bought so much
2) Use one of each of the colors.
3) Use one of each of the Delicate Lace Dies
These cards are sooo pretty in person!

The background uses the Old Olive from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. The sentiment cut from Whisper White and one of the Delicate Lace Dies and then stamped with Granny Apple Green and the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set (I love the fonts in this sentiment). For the ribbon, I  colored the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon with a Pear Pizzazz Blends Marker, I love how the sparkle shows though after coloring it! The envelope is stamped with one of my favorite holiday borders from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set, so elegant! 

For the accent pieces, even though it is for Christmas, I decided to stay with floral since I wanted the depth and colors. Tracy went with snowflakes for her cards. I cut some Pear Pizzazz with the Leaf Punch and topped that off with Ice Stampin' Glitter for extra holiday sparkle! The flower is cut from the large & small flowers from the Flourish Dies and White Glimmer Paper. More leaves were cut from Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam and Bouquet Bunch Dies.

Bird Ballad meets Sketch Challenge

Tracy had a sketch challenge to submit, and since we both had recently bought a ton of DSP we decided to focus on using some of it up! The rules were at least 3 to 4 pieces of DSP and the sketch!

The background and 2 strips of paper are cut from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper as well as the little bird. The background, strips and sentiment are all roughed up with a scissor edge & inked in Calypso Coral. The horizontal strip is embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and sponged over the top with more Calypso Coral. The sentiment is from the Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set. The white & silver sprigs are done with the Flourish Dies and topping off the whole thing is a bow made with Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. This ended up being my favorite card of the day, even though I am not a huge fan of Calypso Coral. Here was the #pinspiration!

Garden Lane meets Nature's Beauty Bunny

The last #OneSheetWonder card was one of the easiest and may be my favorite because of its softness.

For the background I embossed a piece of... you guessed it! Whisper White with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder layered over Mint Macaron. I added two strips of the Garen Lane DSP on each side of the bunny & framed them with Silver Glimmer Paper. The bunny is stamped in Soft Suede and cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and layered over another cut from Mint Macaron. The sentiment is stamped with the Old Olive and the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. The whole thing is topped off with a knot of Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle and Silver Thread. The envelope is decorated with the border stamp from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set with Mint Macaron.

For the background I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder layered over Old Olive. I added a strip of the Mossy Meadow with the leaves stamped in Mossy Meadow & trimmed it with the Delicate Lace Dies. That was topped off with a few little strips of Gold Glimmer Paper to add a little bling. The Garden Lane DSP strip runs down the left side. The fox is stamped in Soft Suede and cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The sentiment is stamped with the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink and the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. The whole thing is topped off with a bow made of Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon colored with the Mint Macaron Blends Marker. The envelope is stamped with the border stamp from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set.

Garden Lane meets Nature's Beauty Deer

The next 3 cards of the #OneSheetWonder were kind of all built at the same time & I went back and forth, the fox and the deer changed layouts several times.

For the background I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder layered over Mossy Meadow. I added a strip of the Garen Lane DSP and framed it with Gold Glimmer Paper and Old Olive. The deer is stamped in Soft Suede and cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then cut out some Mossy Meadow using the Frosted Frames Dies and trimmed it down to fit the deer frame. The sentiment is stamped with the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink and the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. The whole thing is topped off with a double bow of retired Gold Metallic Thread.

Garden Lane meets Nature's Beauty Easter

This is the first one I tackled using two of the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper #OneSheetWonder pieces measuring 2 3/4 x 1 7/8.

I recently made a Halloween card with this layout and thought it would be an easy way to start with this challenge. All layers & inks are Mossy Meadow except the bunny was stamped with Soft Suede. I flipped the leafy primary piece I would be using over to reveal the more Mint Macaron piece and layered them both with Mossy Meadow. For the background I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. I added a strip of green across the front & stamped it with the leaves stamp from the Nature's Beauty Stamp Set and trimmed it with a few strips of Silver Glimmer Paper. The bunny was cut using the Ornate Frames Dies. The sentiment is from a really old Stampin' Up! retired set and the whole thing is topped off with a bow made from the Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. The envelope is decorated with the border stamp from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set.

Gather Together Halloween Pretty Peacock

I recently attended the North Carolina Demonstrator meeting and did 3 Shoebox swaps. Since I was rushed for time on 2 of the swaps, I just gathered the elements I needed, took a picture & came home & made a completely different card!

The background is stamped Pretty Peacock on Pretty Peacock using leaf from the retired Choose Happiness Stamp Set, I love that leaf, it is so pretty! I added banner of Coastal Cabana embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and then lightly sponged with Pretty Peacock. I added a little swatch of white layered over a strip from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. One of the pumpkins is cut from it using the Gathered Leaves Dies. The other pumpkin is stamped with Pretty Peacock using the Gather Together Stamp Set. The gold leaf is cut from gold cardstock & the Gathered Leaves Dies. The sentiment is stamped with Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink Pad and a stamp from my stash. Topping off the whole thing is a double bow made using the Whisper White Baker's Twine.

Magnolia Lane meets Country Home

This card uses the 2" x 6" strip from Magnolia Lane for a #onesheetwonder. It was trimmed down to 5" for the strip used.

The background is embossed with the Layered Leaves on Petal Pink. The frame is cut from Frosted Frames Dies and the sentiment and floral arrangement is from Country Home colored with Blends. The sentiment is from Well Written Dies and cut from Silver Glimmer Paper. I colored the Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon with Sea Foam Blends Markers. The pearls were colored with the Petal Pink Blends Marker. Tracy & I used the same sized strip for this card & they turned out remarkably similar and we also both used the same stamp set for this one too! 

Here is the paper cutting template that I obtained from my wonderful group of North Carolina Demonstrators! For the right column however, we just cut one strip that was used on the pink card.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas stamped in Mossy Meadow. The Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon is colored with Real Red Blends Markers and the flower is from Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set.

Here is the paper cutting template that I obtained from my wonderful group of North Carolina Demonstrators! For the right column however, we just cut one strip that was used on the pink card.
