Cheers to the New Year
Stampin' Up! hosted it's 30th year birthday convention in Orlando in November. It was said that there would be up to 10,000 people there from every corner of the globe, so I just had to make some swaps! Here is the process for the first set of 100.
I always try to not use the most popular item that is trending and create an alternative to the norm. When I made this the Snowflake bundle & Dashing Deer were hot, hot, hot, so I stayed clear of those & decided to use the hostess set instead and create a New Year's card.
I also wanted to use a technique and that's when things got dicey. I used the dandelion stamp for the fireworks and embossed with 3 different colors of embossing powder, shimmery embossing paste and a shaker card! In the end, I stamped the dandelions only in black to cut back on some of the production.
Before I started I photoshopped a quick idea together to know if it would look ok & to order the supplies.
