One Sheet Wonder Magnolia Lane

For this set of cards Tracy & I decided to try our hand at a one sheet wonder with a 6x6 piece of paper, then we picked the absolute hardest route and chose 4 different stamp sets to try this new technique out!

I tried to make them DSP shine through while still making the cards unique, maybe fell somewhere in the middle of that goal. This collection also highlights what beautiful ribbon you can make with the Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon and assorted colors of Blends markers. The house used Crumb Cake (with Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon), the pink floral used Soft Sea Foam, the Christmas one used Real Red and the Fox uses the fresh-off-the-reel white. So pretty! Here is the paper cutting template that I obtained from my wonderful group of North Carolina Demonstrators! For the right column however, we just cut one strip that was used on the pink card.

Colorful Seasons on Wood

There are no better days than Tracy play date days and what better way to finish off World Card Making Week than with a mini digital retreat!

We decided to start with a challenge that Tracy had coming up for a Blog Hop with a fall theme and we chose this #pinspiration. I have had Colorful Seasons for quite a while, but it was new to Tracy, so we chose that as our stamp set. The other criteria was browns and wood. I used the copper embossing powder on the leaves and the retired Copper Glimmer Paper and wood thanks. The colors are Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze. Birch Background meets Seasonal Layers Dies

Here is another card using the Birch Background Stamp Set. I made this card as part of a Paper Pumpkin in some other colors & so fully loved it, I decided to replicate for this display board / challenge.

The Daffodil Delight background is embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder & mounted on Pumpkin Pie. The White interior is stamped with Soft Suede using the Birch Background Stamp. The circles are cut from the Layering Circles Dies set. The Flowers are dies cut from the Seasonal Layers Dies and Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from Beauty Abounds stamp Set and the envelope is decorated with flowers from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. The whole thing is topped with the 1/4" Copper Trim and some rhinestones colored with the Bronze Stampin Blends Marker gives a little sparkle!

#simplestamping with Abstract Impressions

Here is another project from my Crafting with Tracy.

We always like to start the day with a simple creation and neither of us are great at simple stamping! We always need more layers & embellishments! More, more, more!

We chose Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick. Tracy was dying to use and create an item she had seen with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set, but since I did not own that one I chose to use Abstract Impressions, which I love, wow did the cards come out very different! You should see Tracy's beautiful card! Mine is a simple row of Daffodil flowers with a Granny Apple swish of grass and a Lipstick sentiment and butterfly. Nothing is ever finished off until there is a little rhinestone bling and wrapped with some Linen Thread & bow.

I was so inspired by Tracy's card I tried to replicate it with the stamps from Abstract Impressions, because her set was distINKtive, they still came out very different. But I love them both! I added some flower centers from Colorful Seasons and some pen strokes from Stampin' Write Markers. This time I added the Whisper White Baker's Twine to top it off.
