Noble Peacock Foil Pretty Peacock Christmas

Here is the last in the trio of Noble Peacock Foil Sheet cards. This one uses this card as #pinspiration, really it was just using the Scripty 3D and orientation and the rest came from the Noble Peacock Foil Old Olive Christmas card.

~Enjoy!

The background uses the Pretty Peacock from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. The border is cut from Whisper White and one of the Delicate Lace Dies. The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock and a stamp from the Itty Bitty Stamp Set. For the ribbon, I  colored the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon with a Pretty Peacock Blends Marker, I love how the sparkle shows though after coloring it! The envelope is stamped with one of my favorite holiday borders from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and Pretty Peacock, so elegant!

I decided to do all 3 card focals the same since I loved the Old Olive version so much. Tracy went with snowflakes for her cards, make sure to check it out! I cut Pretty Peacock with the Leaf Punch and topped that off with Ice Stampin' Glitter for extra holiday sparkle! The flower is cut from the large & small flowers from the Flourish Dies and White Glimmer Paper. More leaves were cut from Whisper White and Pool Party and Bouquet Bunch Dies.

Noble Peacock Foil Blueberry Bushel Christmas

Here is the second in the trio of Noble Peacock Foil Sheet cards. This was was also CASE-d from Pinterest.

~Enjoy!

The background uses the Blueberry Bushel from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets embossed with the Quilted Embossing Folder. The border is cut from Whisper White and one of the Delicate Lace Dies. The sentiment is stamped with Blueberry Bushel and a stamp from my stash. I roughed up the edges a little to give it a little more interest since it was hanging out all by itself away from the focal. The Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon is so pretty with Blueberry Bushel and Whisper White. The envelope is stamped with one of my favorite holiday borders from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and Blueberry Bushel, so elegant!

I decided to do all 3 card focals the same since I loved the Old Olive version so much. Tracy went with snowflakes for her cards, check it out! Noble Peacock Foil Old Olive Christmas

For the last "card" of the day, Tracy & I picked 2 cards made with the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets to CASE and a third to convert so that we could
1) Use more DSP since we bought so much
2) Use one of each of the colors.
3) Use one of each of the Delicate Lace Dies
These cards are sooo pretty in person!

~Enjoy!

The background uses the Old Olive from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. The sentiment cut from Whisper White and one of the Delicate Lace Dies and then stamped with Granny Apple Green and the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set (I love the fonts in this sentiment). For the ribbon, I  colored the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon with a Pear Pizzazz Blends Marker, I love how the sparkle shows though after coloring it! The envelope is stamped with one of my favorite holiday borders from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set, so elegant!

For the accent pieces, even though it is for Christmas, I decided to stay with floral since I wanted the depth and colors. Tracy went with snowflakes for her cards. I cut some Pear Pizzazz with the Leaf Punch and topped that off with Ice Stampin' Glitter for extra holiday sparkle! The flower is cut from the large & small flowers from the Flourish Dies and White Glimmer Paper. More leaves were cut from Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam and Bouquet Bunch Dies.

Gift of Fall Paper Pumpkin Pretty Peacock

This card came to be after I trimmed the wreath from the Pretty Peacock card bases that came with the September 2019 Paper Pumpkin: Gift of Fall Add On.

~Enjoy!

I ran the remnants through my embossing machine with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder & then lightly sanded to have the white core show through. I trimmed the top & bottom of the card base down to match the width of the card & added the Crumb Cake top & bottom edges back to the Pretty Peacock. The whole thing was them matted on Very Vanilla. I used some of the Crumb Cake card bases and ran them through my embossing machine with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder and then sanded the tops of the paper lightly to release the white core. I then punched those & some additional Blackberry Bliss using the Leaf Punch. The sentiment was embossed with White Embossing Powder on Blackberry Bliss & layered on Crumb Cake. The whole thing it topped off with a bow made from the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim which gives the card a vintage feel. The envelope was stamped with Amazing Life.

Gift of Fall Paper Pumpkin Colorful Banner

This colorful leafy banner was my favorite element from the September 2019 Paper Pumpkin: Gift of Fall.

~Enjoy!

After adhering the banner in a horizontal position on Whisper White cardstock, I cut out the shape with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I scuffed up the sentiment block with my scissors and stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow.  I supplemented the leafy greenery with the Leaf Punch for the Crushed Curry leaf and the Bouquet Bunch Dies for the Mossy Meadow leaf. Topping it off is a double bow made from the Linen Thread. I adore the simplicity and beauty of this one!

Gift of Fall Paper Pumpkin Sunset

This card uses one of my favorite elements from any Paper Pumpkin ever, the colorwash sunset from the September 2019 Paper Pumpkin: Gift of Fall Add On.

~Enjoy!

This card starts off with a piece of Merry Merlot background paper. Then I ran the card base provided with the Gift of Fall Add On through the embossing machine with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. I then lightly sanded the top of the sunset paper to expose the white core of the paper. I scruffed up the edges of the paper and added a few additional sprigs cut from Merry Merlot, Crushed Curry & the Leaf Punch. The sentiment is stamped with Merry Merlot and layered over Silver Glimmer Paper

The whole thing is then topped off with a double bow made from the Linen Thread. I also made a version of this using Pumpkin as a background and Gold Glimmer Paper under the sentiment.

Gift of Fall Paper Pumpkin Wreath

This was one of the first cards I tackled - what was I going to do with all of those little tiny leaves? I love how it came out but it was definitely a labor of love!

~Enjoy!

Let's start with the easy part, the background. I embossed a piece of Blackberry Bliss with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, layered with a piece of white & 2 trimmed down pieces of the Gift of Fall add on cards with the Pretty Peacock Wreath removed. The sentiment is stamped with Blackberry Bliss & layered over a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper. The whole thing is topped off with a double bow made with the Linen Thread.

Now let's talk about those leaves! I trimmed assorted leaves with several papers and the Leaf Punch to match the Blackberry Bliss & Pretty Peacock leaves that came with the kit. The Crushed Curry ones came from the envelope flaps and then I supplemented some plain Blackberry Bliss ones from cardstock. With the Gift of Fall add on cards, I used some of the Crumb Cake card bases and ran them through my embossing machine with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder and then sanded the tops of the paper lightly to release the white core.  Lastly, I punched some leaves with Whisper White & added some Ice Stampin' Glitter crystals adhered with Shimmery Crystal Effects.

Colour Combo Challenge March

My friend Tracy & I love to do color challenges when we get together for our digital retreats. This time she found one from the Colour Combo Blog Hop. This month's colors are Pool Party, Shaded Spruce and Flirty Flamingo. Tracy also found this cute card to CASE.

~Enjoy!

Here is my card using the challenge colors. Using the Bunny Builder Punch, the Leaf Punch and leaves from Bouquet Bunch and Flourish Thinlits. The banner is embossed with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder. The background is stamped with Pool Party and one of the masks from Pattern Party and the whole thing is topped off with some ribbon from Sale-a-bration.

And here is Tracy's card!

After the retreat, these colors were still calling to me to see if I could create something that I liked a little more & felt more of my creation, so I picked up my favorite stamp set, Hello Cupcake and had some fun. I liked that is softened Flirty Flamingo and allowed Pool Party to be the star. I stamped the Buffalo Check stamp for the banner and scruffed some edges with my scissors and applied a generous helping of Crumb Cake to distress it a little more. Swirls & Curls was applied to the background Very Vanilla card base and I added some Cheesecloth for a little interest and the pearls were inked up with a Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Marker. To finish it off is a wrapped banner made from Braided Linen Trim. What a delicious looking cupcake!!

I was also starting to play with my Mother's Day cards for this year & the envelope I stamped above looked a little like grandma's wallpaper. I knew I wanted to use the cute Teapot from Tea Together Stamps & Tea Time Dies and I thought the Pool Party would be sort of a patina look for it. I tried several versions of the teapot, but finally ended up on this version. Once again, I added some Crumb Cake sponging to the background to antique the card a little more and of course a doily! Finishing it off are some flowers from my stash & a Braided Linen Trim bow. All of the Mothers out there loved the card!

Here is the collection for the color challenge.
