Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Collection

Here are all of the cards from my first day of playing with the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin kit

~Enjoy!

This kit was super fun, check out all for the details for each card:

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Abstract Impressions

Did you notice that the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin not only goes with the FREE Flower & Field DSP but also the flowers look like the ones from the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set?

~Enjoy!

I created the focal by stamping the sentiment first in Memento Black ink, the surrounded that with several layers of flowers stamped with Stamped off Coastal Cabana for the bottom layer, then  full strength Costal Cabana and topped off with Just Jade. The little flowers are stamped with Memento Black Ink & filled with a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker. ,The Leaves are stamped with Mossy Meadow.

I scruffed up the edges on everything with a kitchen knife (who needs to fancy tools - this works WAY better!). The background is from the FREE Sale-A-Bration Flower & Field DSP with a little border made from Bumblebee, layered with Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and a bow.

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Simple Stepped Up

I can't help it, I am just NOT  simple stamper, so I had to dress up the #simplestamping card I created earlier with the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin kit

~Enjoy!

I stamped the flowers with an assortment of colors; Merry Merlot, Honeybee, Rococo Rose and Tranquil Tide (I should have used Just Jade) and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. I added a strip of Honeybee envelope liner and a double layer of the sentiment blocks provided stamped with Mossy Meadow. A double bow made with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread & voila!

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Wedding Day

The large bouquet from the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin kit read more wedding than sympathy, so I turned it into a quick & easy (and really pretty) Wedding card!

~Enjoy!

I just added the bouquet and stamped a sentiment from my stash in Merry Merlot. Then ran the whole background piece through my embossing machine with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and layered that on another piece of Basic White card base. So pretty!

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Butterfly

Did you know the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin kit coordinates with the Flower & Field DSP from SALE-A-Bration? It does!

~Enjoy!

I created the focal with the flower pattern on Jade from the FREE DSP called Flower & Field. I used a scrap of  Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon in a double knot. The butterfly is made from the large B type character from the German version of Thinking of You sticker layered over some Rococo Rose card stock.

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Vintage

This was the first card I made with the set and I was CASE-ing myself when I created it, it also includes an alternate way to use the gold medallion included in the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin kit.

~Enjoy!

I stamped the large bouquet with Merry Merlot on Basic White and layered it with pieces from the kit. I fussy cut the flower down a little to get some of the excess white off of it, then layered it on an oval piece of Basic White cut with retired Layering Oval Dies and ran both of those though my embossing machine with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder to give the focal a little more of a artwork feel.

I cut apart the gold medallion & flipped it to the reverse side for the lacy border on the left. The sentiment is stamped with Mossy Meadow. I think it is simply charming!

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Simple Stamping

I tend to be an avid crafter, so simple stamping is a little more difficult for me, but I thought the little flowers that came with the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin would make a super cute background.

~Enjoy!

I stamped the flowers with an assortment of colors; Merry Merlot, Honeybee, Rococo Rose and Tranquil Tide (I should have used Just Jade) and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. Super quick and super cute!

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Foil

When I saw the floral overlay frame from the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin, I got really excited to use it!

~Enjoy!

This card is super quick and simple. I just layered a sentiment over the gold medallion frame over the leafy gold frame and added it to a Basic White card base - super quick and gorgeous! Since this card did not look like a sympathy card, I grabbed a wedding type sentiment from my stash, and I need more anniversary cards, than wedding, I chose Happy Anniversary and stamped it with Black Memento ink. So pretty!

Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Script

For this card from the 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin, I tried to use the included additional language stickers for Thinking of you, since I did not have a need for them.

~Enjoy!

I love when I get white core paper in the Paper Pumpkin kits, it provides so many more opportunities! A paper can either be white on white side and a color on another - OR - it can be colored on both sides with a white center (like Stampin' Ups! DSP). What you can do with this paper is run it thru with an embossing folder & the take a fine git sandpaper & lightly scrape off the top leaving you with highlighted embossing as I have done here with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder and the Rococo Rose card base included in the kit.

Then I took the black scripted Thinking of You stickers in German (the bottom one) and cut them apart so they created an abstract loopy border. The sentiment is stamped with Merry Merlot. The finishing touches are the black sequins from the kit and a know made from the Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin Alternative Boots & Flowers

The March 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit, No Matter the Weather, Is so cute and the artwork is amazing AND it came with a whole set of free stamps! Happy Anniversary Paper Pumpkin!

~Enjoy!

The background for this card front was so gloomy, and after the suggested stamps of adding more grey clouds was too much gloom for me, so I decided to brighten it up! I cut off the card base & added it a piece if A2 sized Smokey Slate. I added the water rain drops stamped in Smokey Slate as well. I matted the card front on white & added a border of dies cut from the Be Mine Stitched Heart Framelits and a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper. The artwork is all popped up and the bow is a piece of retired Silver & White Bakers Twine. This is definitely more cheery!

No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin Alternative Bunny

The March 2020 No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin kit had such cute artwork in it, although I was not a  huge fan of the boots! Take a peek at what I did with them below!

~Enjoy!

I noticed that the polka dot boots that came with the No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin kit matched the Cajun Craze polka dots from the the Regals 6x6 Designer Series Paper pack. I cut down the card front a little on the top & bottom to better center it on an A2 card base. I cut out the center of the card front using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and popped up the center. I layered the whole thing on white. I flipped over the blue banner and stamped with with Cajun Craze & an Easter wish from my stock. Like I said, I did not really care for the boots, so I turned them into planter pots. I cut off the bottom part of the boot & then layered a little white to match the white border the rest of the artwork had.  The ribbon is from the April 2015 Love You a Lot Paper Pumpkin kit.

No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin Alternative Boots

The No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin kit, from March 2020 was so easy to use and make alternatives! I really do not even remember putting this card together while I was yacking away on the phone with my mom.

~Enjoy!

I started with a Whisper White card base & started to layer leftover pieces from the envelope lines. I had half of the cloudy sky leftover from the card front with the girl & umbrella & I layered the boots over the bottom to hide part of her sleeve that still remained. Everything is popped up and the sentiment is stamped with Crushed Curry. Topping it off is some sheer ribbon from my stock. This is so bright & cheery & will hopefully brighten someones day!

No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin Alternative Raincoat

The March 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit, No Matter the Weather, was so easy to use and make alternatives out of. Maybe it was just a matter of talking on the phone to my mother (which is usually an hour) and I was just playing with cards & not over thinking them!

~Enjoy!

This card uses up the Cajun Craze strip from the Regals 6x6 Designer Series Paper and matches perfectly with the girls raincoat. It also looks nice with the Petal Pink from envelope liner! I cut the card front in half and chose to only focus on the girl. I cut strips of white from the Be Mine Stitched Heart Framelits and bordered the image.  The sentiment is from Bella & Friends. The whole thing is topped off with the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim and some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and sits on a Whisper White card base. It is so bright & cheery!

CASE-ing Wonderful Moments

Another craft day with my friend Tracy, today we decided to CASE the catalog image on page 15 of the 2019-2020 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog!

~Enjoy!

Since neither one of us had a light wood background (I later discovered the paper on the original is from Come Sail Away DSP - which we both DID have) she chose the paper from Pressed Petals & I grabbed the envelope liner for the October 2019 Winter Woods Paper Pumpkin. The background is loads of technique. First I added additional Early Espresso ink randomly to give t just a little more depth. Then I gave the backside a little spritz of water & very carefully scrunched up the paper. I let that dry for a minute before cutting it into 6 equally sized planks. I then adhered those to white cardstock to give it some weight & the scruffed up the edges with my scissors. These are all layered a little wonky on a background of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper & Early Espresso.

The sentiment is a little more work, after stamping with Pear Pizzazz and the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set and a Happy Birthday from my stash, I roughed up the edges again on this piece, then I pressed Crumb Cake lid into its own ink pad, gathered up the ink with an Aqua Painter & using the lid, flicked the background with some soft dots of color. One more thing of special not, I colored the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon with a Cherry Cobbler Blends Maker to get the Rich Razzleberry ribbon with sparkle, so pretty!

Winter Woods Paper Pumpkin Alternative Large Snowflake

This is the first one I made with the Winter Woods October 2019 Paper Pumpkin using the envelope as background paper.

~Enjoy!

I embossed the large snowflakes with Versamark and White Embossing Powder. The sentiment is stamped in Pool Party and Early Espresso and run through my embossing machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder. A few rhinestones add a little bling and the whole thing is topped off with a bow made from the Whisper White Flax Ribbon. I love this wood paper - it is so rich & looks beautiful when embossed with white!

Winter Woods Paper Pumpkin Alternative Snow Trick

The woodgrain paper that came inside of the Winter Woods October 2019 Paper Pumpkin envelopes is so rich and pretty & looks amazing when embossing with white.

~Enjoy!

After I stamped the overall snow stamp with Versamark and White Embossing Powder, I wanted a little lighter coverage of snow so I went back over it with a Q-tip & strategically removed some of the dots before heat embossing. The banner is cut from Pool Party & stamped with Pool Party & the overall snowy stamp with hand cut fishtails & an edge that has been roughed up with scissors. The sentiment banner was cut into thirds & layered behind the snowy banner. The Sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso over a pool Party snowflake on Whisper White and then embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. It was then edged with the silver edge from the envelopes and topped with one of the cute little cardinals. The whole things is them topped off with the Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
